June 9, 2021 by brennon
Mythic Games are beginning to put together all manner of new previews for 6: Siege - The Board Game, based on the hit Rainbow Six video game by Ubisoft. 6: Siege is lined up for a Kickstarter campaign later this summer as a tense one-on-one shooter.

Currently, the game's preview page is now live on Kickstarter so you can hit that notify button and await the launch. However, we've also got a look at more from the game through a series of sneak peeks. As with most of Mythic's games, the look and feel of the game is certainly on point.

I am certainly getting the feel of a game of Siege being played out on the tabletop here. The boards look good, the components look suited to the world and of course, the miniatures are spot on. Talking of miniatures, we have been getting a few more previews of them through their Facebook Group.

You can already check out a peek at gameplay too thanks to the likes of Quackalope and BoardGameCo.
Give the video a look and tell us what you think of it so far. I am interested to see how they manage to nail down that tactical planning element of Siege in particular. If you're eager to learn more news about 6: Siege - The Board Game then make sure to follow their Facebook Group.
Are you going to be checking this one out?

A great looking game an fabulous looking figures for the game.
given that it’s based on a videogame I wouldn’t expect any less …
True.
Another mediocre game with nice minis from Mythic? If they made the minis 28mm rather than 32mm they might be useful for other games. Oh well, same old same old.
lol … since when did any company worry about keeping their minis in a scale that would help the competition ?
There’s a reason why ‘scale’ is defined by something as nebolous as ‘distance’ instead of an actual scale.
But this game is clearly NOT in competition with wargames. So it is only an upside if they made them 28mm as people might buy the game to use the minis elsewhere. I doubt Mythic care at all as they will make a lot of money for a game people will not play…but they got your money :p
The entire concept of R6 Siege never struck a cord with me.
Two elite teams fighting each other ?
The various specialists also were a bit over the top and illogical for the type of setting.
Rainbow las vegas would have been nice.. or travelling the world stopping cells etc…
I loved the whole concept. I backed this on Kickstarter at the trooper level and can’t wait to play it.
I’m ready to sell my soul for such a collection. If you have any suggestions, please contact us. I very rarely can afford to spend money on something, because I now have not the most positive situation at work and the salary is rarely enough. But sometimes I can invest my free money in a lotto that I found on the thenyic website. There are many reviews of similar sites here.
