Mythic Games has been pushing on with the campaign for Mythic Battles: Pantheon and it has reached new heights, much like the Gods as they clamour and battle for a place on Olympus. The main God Pledge is now somewhat insane and there's more to come.

Helios Model #1

Another God is joining the mix in the shape of Helios here with that rather cruel looking whip of his.

Helios Card

His Revealing Light ability adds a new mechanic to the game where he will be able to look at your opponent's hand of cards and if he shares a space with an enemy unit he can damn them, reducing their effectiveness. Twin that with his Whip which can strike at some range and you have a way of mitigating the effectiveness of the opponent's forces.

Heroes With Bow & Sword

On the run up to him becoming part of the campaign we also got to see some more heroes like Aegisthus here.

Aegisthus Model

This fellow is no slouch in combat with those twin blades flashing in front of him as he swirls around the battlefield.

Aegisthus Card

His ability to assassinate means that you will be able to send him against the most deadly of foes and complete ignore their mitigating talents. His poisoned daggers then give you more impetus to send him after heroes as they battle on valiantly only to feel a sword in their back.

Taking on foes from range we have the decidedly more honourable Eurytus.

Eurythus Model

First off with this model we were struck by just how impressive that bow looks. If you're going to be carrying around a magical weapon that's how you want it to end up looking.

Eurythus CardHe is a good teacher to his fellow soldiers is Eurytus. With Eurytus among the soldiers you will be gaining greater accuracy as you fell your foes from afar. I've always been a fan of archers so it's neat to see him joining the cause.

Drafting Help & More To See

With so many heroes, monsters and Gods now included within the pledge you might need an easier way to draft. Well, that's where these Recruitment Cards come in...

Recruitment Cards

Now added as part of the set you will be able to take this big stack of cards out and use them to decide on what forces you want to bring to the tabletop. Well, if you can get past picking the models that look the coolest of course!

Additionally, it should be noted that the campaign has been doing exceptionally well with their Add-Ons and more. The Titan & Typhon Bundles collect together many of the Add-Ons allowing you to pick up the expansions and more at a discounted price.

Of course, we couldn't end without mentioning the crossover with Conan as we got a look at the Corinthia Expansion which includes a bloomin' flying ape!

Winged Ape

So, what are you waiting for? Go and get stuck in with this campaign. It should be noted that they have also been taking full advantage of the live streaming service on Kickstarter too with loads of folks joining to watch them talk about the project so far and showing off a few sneaky peeks at future releases.

Will you be backing?
