Mother’s Embrace Takes FFG’s Mansions Of Madness Digital

Building on the success of the new edition of Mansions Of Madness, Fantasy Flight Games are going to be bringing Mother's Embrace, a new computer game based on the Cthulhu board game, to your PC in 2019.
This single player game will have you playing as some of the famous investigators from Mansions Of Madness, exploring a creepy house and solving mysteries.
You will have to solve complex puzzles, defeat dangerous enemies and venture into a rather nice looking digital world which has an eerie quality to everything you see.
"Over the course of your investigation, you will confront eldritch monsters, treacherous traps, and countless other horrors drawn from the pages of H.P. Lovecraft’s greatest works. Do you have what it takes to solve the mystery and escape with both your life and your sanity intact?"
As a fan of puzzlers and adventure games like Broken Sword, this hits the right spot for me. It looks like it could be a nice way to delve into some alternative mysteries and play within the Cthulhu universe from a different perspective.
Will you be keeping an eye on this one?

And here I thought Mansions was already digital.
A friend got the board game recently and I’ve been waiting for him to learn the rules so we can all play! Looking forward to see how the app integration works with it.
I love the app driven Mansions of Madness 2nd edition. I can understand why some girls spoke don’t like the inclusion of an app but it does remove the need for a game keeper and open up great solo play options.
Looking forward to see what they do with the video game.
