Monstrous Juggernauts Hunt You In HEL: The Last Saga

There are terrible things out there in the darkness hunting your survivors in HEL: The Last Saga. Mythic Games are getting ready for their Kickstarter launch next week and they recently showed off another of the foes you'll be facing during your time with the game.

In HEL: The Last Saga, the players will encounter all manner of terrifying creatures when they begin their quest to explore the island. To begin with, enemies will be represented as tokens (think of blips in Space Hulk) which could be anything at all and do massive amounts of damage to your characters as they ambush you from the shadow.

You can scout ahead however using your character's skills in order to understand what is threatening your camp. If you do so, the token is turned into a miniature (or miniatures) and you'll now be able to put a snarling face to the throaty growl.

Maybe one of these creatures could be this, the Juggernaut. Whilst they will be revealed to the characters and therefore known to the players, that doesn't mean they are going to be a pushover. When faced by one of these howling beasts, even the most grizzled of warriors might feel a shudder of fear run down their spine.

This is just the very tip of the iceberg when it comes to the enemies you'll face in HEL: The Last Saga and much more is going to be revealed over the coming weeks. Remember, however, that their new board game is very much about surprises and reveals so make sure not to spoil it for yourself too much!
