Modiphius’ Thunderbirds Vehicles Blast Off for the Board Game
February 10, 2015 by dracs
Modiphius have revealed the sculpts for Thunderbirds 1 to 5 which will be blasting off to save the day in their much anticipated board game!
As any fan of Thunderbirds can see. these game pieces each capture the iconic design of the vehicles of International Rescue. Just how they will be used in the game remains to be seen, but these are definitely promising game pieces and should hopefully have gameplay mechanics that reflect their respective roles on the show.
These five models, plus characters, will be appearing in the boxed game itself, but Modiphius have said that with the help of Kickstarter there will be the potential for even more. These could range from characters like Brains and Parker, to other well known vehicles such as Lady Penelope's FAB 1 or the other pod vehicles deployed from Thunderbird 2. All of which I am desperate to see!
Are you a Thunderbirds fan? Do you intend to help with this Kickstarter?

GET A GRIP man – you’re over 50!
I definitely will NOT be pledging on this… well not at least until the Kickstarter actually begins. Is that a fair compromise?
Ditto. But we will be powerless to resist
They have enlisted the Hood to use his psychic powers
I hope I can save up my allowance and lemonade stand (not making much money with a foot of snow on the ground) money for this one. After Conan I may have to take a breather. I do so want this game to be excellent and with a possible new show and the Anderson’s son recently successful KS to make a ultramarionation episode of his father’s last show I think there is still some steam under the crust.
