Modiphius Seeks Kung Fu Panda Masters For Playtesting
October 27, 2016 by stvitusdancern
Modiphious has put the word out that they are looking for some hardy souls to take on the task of playtesting one of their soon to be released games, Kung Fu Panda. Yes, you read that correctly, Modiphius has reached a licensing agreement with Dreamwork Animation to bring their hit movie to life as a board game.
You will be able to play as Po, or any of the Furious Five: Tigress, Monkey, Mantis, Crane and Viper. Each one will have its own miniature and you will face off against all the nasties including Tai Lung.
Now let us be honest, we all have those light-hearted games that are a guilty pleasure and if you have young children they may like this game as well and you can spend some quality family time together.
Why not put your name into the mix and see if you can help Modiphious smooth out the wrinkles of this game and make it the most fun possible.
The game comes out at Gen Con 2017 as a limited release and then there will be a general release in later that fall.
Will you be keeping an eye out for this?

like Po said,” I love kung fu”
As an avid fan of Kung fu movies, king fu panda hits all the right notes. The second movie is the best in my opinion.
A board game sounds like a great idea.
Oh yeah all over this.
I like the second film as well but I have to say the dumpling training fight in the first one is possibly one of the greatest kung fu fight scenes of all time….;-P. It arguably trumps Mobius vs Neo and Yu vs Jen (Crouching Tiger) – although that had a better soundtrack (love me some drums…;)).
