Megacon Games Makes Available Their 4th Quarter Updates
December 22, 2016 by stvitusdancern
Megacon Games the minds behind games such as Myth, Emergence Event and MERCS has released their 4th quarter updates in one convenient package.
In this download, you get the kid friendly rules for their new card game Dumpster Diver, the solo gameplay rules for Emergence Event (always convenient when you want to get a game in and no one to play with) and lastly a new adventure module for Myth, Stone of Life.
It is always nice to see a company continuously supporting their games. We sometimes face the reality and fear that a game company puts a game up on Kickstarter and then after it is published and sent out that there is nothing further for that game.
I like that Megacon Games continuously looks to improve the gameplay experience for their players. This keeps them engaged in their games and are more likely able to support them down the line.
Have you played any of these games lately?

Gianna, megacon completely messed up the mercs.kickstarter and gave us a product that you would not buy in a charity shop . They were rude and insultung to backers who tried to help and are a total disgrace .A lot if backers have sold there games off cheap to try and get some money back and mine sits in a box and will never be played a complete waste of time and money.
I do not agree. While the Mercs: Recon Kickstarter has had and still has some issues the game is really good. I’ve played it several times with different groups now and we all think it is a very good game.
Regarding the quarterly patches: generally I think it is a good thing, I just wish there would be a way to get a professionally printed version of these patches, especially if cards are involved.
I agree with sulphur, Myth Journeyman is a mess and they say that some parts of it will be delivered 4th quarter of 2017! It supposed to be September 2015! How are they improving??? Looks more like paid ad not an independent article 🙁
It was actually supposed to be June 2016 and not September 2015 though (that estimate was only for the updated cards for the base game)
It doesn’t make the situation better, but let’s at least stick to the facts 😉
@nikkel did.you do the mercs KS? If so were you one of the minority that got a decent pledge?
For the.most of us we got scratched and warped tiles , minis that look like someone took a hairdrier to them and melted them and dice that atr so unrecognizable we dont know what they are meant to represent so not just some minor problems a complete feck up
