Meet Rhovanion Heroes From FFG’s New LotR LCG Expansion

Fantasy Flight Games shows no sign of stopping as it delves into another expansion for The Lord Of The Rings: The Living Card Game. This time they're heading into The Wilds Of Rhovanion with some new heroes and more quests.

A band Haradrim refugees are seeking safety in The Wilderlands and it is up to your heroes to make sure that they survive the journey, helping them as they find themselves being drawn into all manner of terrible situations, some of which drag you back towards the darkness of Mirkwood.

You will be drawing on allies and heroes from the City of Dale, staunch defenders of land that was claimed from them many years ago by Orcs and the Dragon, Smaug. Now resettled, you bring heroes like Brand and Bard into the mix as they look to bring their hardy warriors to your aid.

You will be allowed to bring into play loads of combinations with both Dale and Esgaroth allies, summoning them to your side and also drawing on powerful artefacts with which to fight back the forces of Mordor. Plus, you'll have to deal with deadly Goblins that still make their way down from the mountains to threaten your lands

It's great to see more theme being dripped onto an already theme-packed game. Each endeavour and quest you undertake brings forth a new challenge and tells more stories from the realm of Middle-earth.
