“But I don’t want to go among mad people," Alice remarked.
"Oh, you can’t help that," said the Cat: "we’re all mad here. I’m mad. You’re mad."
"How do you know I’m mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn’t have come here.”

Thundergryph Games have fallen down the rabbit-hole just in time for tea with their latest card game Hats. In Hats, 2-4 players compete to get the most fantastic headwear by exchanging the hats they currently own with cards on the tea table board.

Players earn points for the hats in their hand depending on the placement of matching hat types on the tea table board, so a constantly evolving strategy is required to maintain a notable lead.

There are also points to be gained for your favourite hat, and the most variety of hats - which earn you the last cookie at the table!

I'm a massive Alice In Wonderland nerd, and I absolutely love this game! However, the set-collection mechanics of Hats is really interesting and the artwork is beautiful, so this game will easily appeal to a wide variety of gamers.

Hats will be pre-releasing at GenCon and Essen Spiel, before a full launch at the end of 2019. You can check it out in more detail here.
