Mantic Give You The 101 On The Walking Dead & Miniature Gaming

Since The Walking Dead: All Out War might end up being quite the gateway game for folks interested in the comic books Mantic have supplied a pair of introductory looks at All Out War and miniatures gaming in general. You can read Part One and Part Two here...
They also showed off a new miniature from their character collection that will be available when the game launches. Here we have Carl looking like he means business with his pistol and rather large stetson.

His face is somewhat odd I think..but then again I suppose we all would have odd facial expressions in case of a zombie apocalypse.
Personally I’d prefer KD:M style multipart hard plastics but this won’t stop me from backing the KS, I’m too much of a WD fanboy..
I have absolutely no interest in this game whatsoever. Don’t really know why, perhaps I’m just bored to death the with the zombie game genre.
the hat rim looks a bit big I think.
As much as I have enjoyed The Walking Dead comics and TV series, I swore off any Mantic product after backing their Dungeon Saga Kickstarter.
The sculpt of Carl is very disappointing , I hope the other characters are a better effort as I was looking forward to this, now thinking its not going to be that promising.

@mage, the problems I had were mostly customer service related. When I pledged for the game, I wanted to go ‘all-in’ and get all the gameplay add ons, including the resin counters and such. The only items I didn’t want were the resin collectable figures. They way they had set up the extras, it was confusing as to how many you would need to give you a complete replacement set, and the expansions items also offered scenery that was duplicated as optional extras, with insufficient explanation of the contents.
