Mantic Games Now Taking Pre-Orders For Hellboy
March 25, 2019 by brennon
Mantic Games are now taking pre-orders for Hellboy: The Board Game. With the Kickstarter delivering soon to backers this is your last chance to get your hands on the big Collector's Edition as well as a few other options too.
The core retail version of the game (pictured above) comes with...
- 4 Plastic Agent Miniatures – Hellboy, Liz Sherman, Johann Strauss, and Abe Sapien
- 18 Plastic Minion Miniatures
- 3 Plastic Boss Miniatures – Rasputin, Giant Frog Monster, and the Tentacles of Sadu-Hem
- 13 Custom Game Dice
- 12 double-sided Cardstock Room Tiles
- More than 160 Cards
- More than 120 Cardstock Tokens and Counters
- Quickstart Guide and Rulebook
...and offers you up a pretty awesome start when getting stuck into the board game. It won't be as jam-packed as the version of the game from Kickstarter but it still feels like a complete product which I think is always key coming off the back of a Kickstarter project.
If you're willing to splurge a little more and get more from your Hellboy experience on the tabletop there's also the Collector's Edition of the game which introduces a few more bits and bobs.
This means everything from the core game that you've seen above PLUS all of the goodness from Kickstarter with additional exclusives, new missions and adventures and even a couple of bells and whistles too. It's quite the monstrous set!
More Awaits!
You can also snag yourself the Collector's Edition with a bonus Cinema Ticket attached so you can go and see the new Hellboy movie when it comes out in theatres. There are also a few more optional adds on including Counter Upgrades, Dice Boosters and even the Limited Edition Holiday Hellboy.
So, if you missed out on the Kickstarter and still want to get yourself stuck into Hellboy you now have some options from Mantic Games.
Did you back the Kickstarter?

Yay can’t wait.
Going to roll the dice on this and let fate decide, if there is a KS edition at Salute this year it will be one of my purchases at the event… if not then it was not meant to be 😀
