Winner of the 2018 Spiel des Jahres Kennerspiel The Quacks of Quendlinburg is getting an English edition thanks to publisher North Star Games. In The Quacks of Quendlinburg, players act as alchemists who draw ingredients from their bag to create new and wonderful potions.

Welcome to Quedlinburg, where the best miracle doctors and quack surgeons from all across the land gather to brew their concoctions against smelly feet, homesickness, hiccups and love sickness. Every quack has their own special brew they hope will make them the best miracle doctor in the land!

Through using the correct ingredients, alchemists can earn fame and fortune, however, if the wrong ingredient is added to the concoction, the entire potion will be destroyed. This means players must choose their moment to finish designing their potion carefully; too long and they may destroy the entire brew, too soon and another, riskier alchemist may take the prize.

There is no official release date yet for The Quacks of Quendlinburg, but interested alchemy scholars can keep up to date through the North Star Games website.
