December 5, 2022 by brennon
Warhammer Underworlds will play host to a new warband soon as pre-orders go live for Grinkrak's Looncourt this weekend from the folks at Games Workshop. Get your loopy Gloomspite Gitz fix with these rather fun-looking miniatures.

The Looncourt will be entering the fray for this board-based card-driven miniatures game. They really have moulded together all sorts of game styles into Warhammer Underworlds. The set comes with Grinkrak himself who has knighted a bunch of his Gloomspite followers who bring all manner of strange weapons to the tabletop. You've got a mushroom blowpipe, a squig lance and even a mounted fellow who is off to play a bit of polo.
Warhammer Underworlds continues to provide a fun way for you to test a faction before you dive in properly. With such a range of diverse factions in The Mortal Realms, giving them a go in Warhammer Underworlds seems like a great way to see if you like painting a handful of miniatures before you commit to hundreds!
Fearsome Fortress - Rivals Deck
As well as the new warband, you can also pick up the Fearsome Fortress - Rivals Deck this weekend.
Fearsome Fortress - Rivals Deck // Warhammer Underworlds
This new pack of cards can be added to various factions allowing you to play with a very specific style of deck against your opponents without having to do much deck-building. The focus is on manipulating the board state with gambits and a selection of interesting upgrades. These cards can also be taken from their Rivals Deck and used in other formats like Nemesis and Championship if you would prefer.
Are you interested in giving Warhammer Underworlds a go and picking up either that new warband or that Rivals Deck?

Ooh deadly knight shade’s.
That is nice looking gobbo warband.
It works like this: each player receives a pre-built deck, either by selecting warband-specific cards for a given warband or by randomly selecting one.
