Let’s Play: The Dark Crystal
July 12, 2018 by dignity
Based on the Jim Henson film of the same name, this is River Horse's board game adaptation of the 1982 fantasy adventure film.
The Dark Crystal board game is based on the same mechanics as their Labyrinth board game adaptation.
Players can choose to play as Jen and Kira, the gelflings trying to save their world; or as the Skeksis who are trying to capture them.
Are you old enough to play this dark game?

Nice Let’s Play guys 🙂 .The Garthim deserve a proper upgrade to miniature form i think.
Great video, and a cool game. I really like the way the rich world (not just the movie, but comics and other bits that have been released) has scope to be explored because of how the board gradually builds up from the deck into a set of locations from the world. Also, the co-operative/competitive skeksis works perfectly into fiction and as a game mechanic.
Also, it’s a crime that Justin has not seen the film, one for a good movie night!
