Love the game and the changes they’ve made for second edition work really well. Can’t wait for the week. Most importantly when are we going to see a rematch between @warzan and the bear wizard.
I never really got into Dreadball, it will be interesting to see how the second edition works, but I fear I am now far too heavily invested into Guild ball to get into this one too.
I wonder when wave 2 of this thing arrives, but I doubt I’ll have anything painted before that time (as per usual LOL)
I’ve played one game (with another booked for Sunday) and like it. I’m curious to hear from any veer-myn players as (only from a read) they were one of the weaker teams and seem to have done even worse out of the new rules. Hope I’m wrong, rat-lovers.
Yes !!! 🙂 – One of the few Mantic games I haven’t tried 🙂
Its AWESOME!!
Unless the quality has increased significantly, count me out.
I was so disgusted by the quality of the first edition that I ended up throwing it in the bin.
it has, pre assembled and pre coloured alá walking dead or dungeon/star saga. The four teams I have are top notch, an ink and stick to a base is good enough for getting started
Quality has improved since 1st edition and it plays better! I’m looking forwards to next week now. 🙂
Until rhe advent of Shadespire most of my actual games were Fantasy Football (Particularly Guild Ball and Blood Bowl… Dreadball which was once king had dropped off over the last 2 years) It is still a great concept and I look forward to the surge in interest again.
On a Nostalgic note, this was the game that made me first frequent Beasts of War. Loved James’ and Warren’s demos in the original game
So the bear wizard summoned a bear dragon..!
😉 😛
A real good game. Fast to learn mechanics and games under one hour.
Great to see Dreadball is back. Can’t wait to get this to the table.
