Knight Games Escape From Arkham Once More In January 2023

Knight Games, the board game arm of Knight Models, are going to be coming to Gamefound in January 2023 with Batman: Escape From Arkham Asylum. You might remember this project from a little while ago. Well, it is coming back to tabletops soon as you try and escape from a high-security prison.

The game is set to hit Gamefound on 24th January 2023 and will see you taking on the role of characters like The Joker, Poison Ivy, Scarecrow and more as they sneak and fight their way through Arkham Asylum, hoping to escape before Batman shows up.
One of the neat things about Escape From Arkham Asylum is that it's a cooperative affair to a degree. You will need to pool your villainous resources in order to escape from the facility because going it alone could end up with you all being captured by Batman and the asylum guards. Of course, in the end, you want to be the one who achieves the most masterful of escape attempts so if you throw someone under the bus, that wouldn't be too bad, right?

Each of the characters comes with different abilities and ways that they can influence the action on the tabletop and Knight Games have mentioned that we're going to be getting plenty of previews and updates as we move towards the launch of the campaign. Seeing some interesting gameplay videos when the campaign launches will be good to see.

Additionally, the miniatures for the game will come in plastic manufactured in China for the Gamefound campaign (Note: This has been changed to reflect updated information). As you'll have noted above, if you follow the campaign and get ready for the Gamefound project, there is an additional Bane character skin available for you to pick up alongside the core game.
Could you be tempted to give this a look when it comes to Gamefound at the start of next year?

Great looking figures.
I still think that they are missing a huge opportunity to have the miniatures in the game be compatible with the ‘Batman Miniature Game’. It’s a win-win. Fans of BMG will look into the game for the models to use in their game and those that back this will have an entry point into another game system from Knight Models.
have they said that they won’t be now? I know when I played the prototype the miniatures were the same
The miniatures are the same 35mm scale as the ones from the Batman Miniature Game as far as I’ve read. So you could use them as replacements for those in the miniatures game if you prefer.
The scale of the “Batman: Escape from Arkham Asylum” miniatures is the same as the “Batman Miniature Game” miniatures.
I remember when they first announced the project many moons ago that they said they weren’t going to be compatible. Happy to see that isn’t the case now!
