Knight Fall! Faces Demons To Stop Underworld Corruption
September 1, 2022 by fcostin
Red Raven Games are gearing up to release Knight Fall this September. This is a board game pitting the righteous Holy Knights of Tornmar Abbey against avenging ambitious demons as players are challenged to protect the entrance to the underworld before all hell breaks loose.
Knight Fall // Red Raven Games
One to six players will be choosing a side, a choice of good or evil split across two teams to achieve wild and different outcomes depending on who is on the winning side. If players are taking the role of the Knights, they will need to ensure that the elders are protected, those that wait near the seal to the underworld, destroying any demons approaching until dawn. However, if players are taking on the role of the darker side, their goal is to break the seals and cause chaos.
Given the asymmetrical mechanics in play, each player will be showing off their own abilities depending on which heroic or demonic character they went for from a choice of nineteen unique player options. Combining abilities with cards will influence engagements as you battle to hope to hold out until the sun rises.

Red Raven Games have also showcased the campaign mode embedded in the game which sees one to two players off on a hunt for mysteries and relics across a lore-filled story attempting to keep all the Knights alive and away from peril.
The setup of the game requires players to build their own layout, meaning there are multiple different ways to build the monastery. This will in turn lead to a boss battle between good and evil in a chamber that deserves epic music!

Knight Fall is currently up for pre-order directly on the Red Raven Games website but that's just for US customers only. If you are keen on splitting teams with your usual gaming group and fighting as the forces of good and evil, Knight Fall will be released on September 21st in retail for $44.99
