Are you a cat person? Have a weakness for rescuing cats from peril? Well, Isle of Cats will allow you to rescue all of the cats... well not all of the cats - just as many as you can but on a small island. The previous Kickstarter took cat lovers by storm, and now there is a brand new campaign adding new cats and new kittens to the mix with some all-new purrfect expansions on Kickstarter.

Isle of Cats // The City of Games

Isle of Cats is a competitive card-drafting game, where yourself and your opponents will be placing cats around the board tactically. The aim of the game is to rescue as many cats by placing them in your boat of refuge, before their serendipitous home gets destroyed.

Players will be required to keep coloured cat families together, whilst making sure that all cats fit on the boat and no families are separated. No cat Titanic here, not just felines and kittens allowed - cats of all classes can come aboard.  Whilst handling resources, players will need to adventure to different parts of the island to rescue lots of cats, accumulate treasures aplenty and undergo missions or "lessons" from the mysterious Oshax.

Now, the brand new Kickstarter is live with new expansions to make your purr. The Kittens And Beasts Expansion adds new beasties to save and get on board your ship, adding the Kitten, Beast and Event Modules to the pack to diversify your base game.

There are also other expansion options included new boat variations to squeeze in all your animals as easy as Noah on an arc and various upgrades to resources and components.

If you have been eyeing up Isle of Cats for a while, I would suggest backing the Kickstarter for the base game alone. There are two different types of pledge - a "New Arrival" and a "Veteran" pledge in several different phases. Depending on if you are looking at starting Isle of Cats from scratch or just dipping into the expansions.

The Kickstarter campaign has 24 days left to go and has already smashed its initial goal. So be sure to check the different level of pledges if you are looking at saving just the new cohort of kitties in the Isle of Cats.

I don't know about you guys, but I personally would move to the Isle of Cats and set up some form of turret system to clear off any incoming threats. It would save a lot of time from rescuing them if I just lived there...
