Well played lads – great series!
As someone who is still planning to get my box cracked open and played I don’t think its a bad thing not to get too far into the campaign and reveal all the surprises. This has whetted my appetite no end!
That said I’d be very keen to see some play throughs with the updated 1.5 rules.
Also an example of adding expansions etc would be very cool too.
That’s dark, Dark and DARKER boys
Sad to see this will be the last one 🙁 , I had kinda thought you might go through the Campaign. I will watch this tomorrow and then begin bugging my friend about getting it started up at my flgc again.
You mean last one of this cycle…..
Ah, i misunderstood. So in the future Lantern Years 11-15 ( and so on to 25 ) will appear in chunks of 5 😀 .
Cheers @doctorether for taking the darkness away from my eyes.
Not trying to rush anyone but and idea as to when the next block might come out? Love the videos! Keep up the awesome work!
Likewise I’m sad this is the las one, I have really enjoyed these play throughs, I’d say they have been some of the best gameplay content on BoW – the perfect mixture of a great game, and genuinely fun banter between the players. Please carry on!
See above.
I don’t ‘get’ Kingdom Death’. It seems to be a role playing game without any role playing, or an arena combat game and a card driven camp building game. Why not just play D&D, or Numernera?
Think of it as a civilisation game, where you play the demigods leading your poor humans through a randomly generated story and world.
The upside over a trad rpg. No need for a GM, and it can be played solo. And playing against the game means you are not at the mercy of other players “roleplaying” or GM fiat.
It is not really a roleplaying game. If you want to compare it to something it is mostly similar to video games like Darkest Dungeon or XCOM. You have a homebase and different characters. You upgrade your homebase and pick gear for the group that is moving out. The important thing is not the characters it is the settlement.
Well played, guys, very well played. I have really been enjoying these sessions. I would just ask you post some close up shots of the minis, especially if doctorether painted them. Looking forward to year eleven!

I really love this series. It has become less of a ‘Lets Play’ and more of a story for me. A new chapter is out, once again taking the survivors of Beast Hold through hardships and horror, but also hope and maybe even love. The trick is though, that not even the author(s) know how this story is going to end 🙂 Its awesome! 🙂
That was intense for me!
I have NEVER beaten the Kingsman, in several campaigns…
Having a Saviour is a definite bonus, though again, only once have I had the fortune of obtaining one, despite planning and attempts…
Reach, daggers and shields: duly noted. I’m coming up on that guy again in my current solo campaign.
I look forward to the continuation of Beasts Hold.
That was great. Here is hoping to a full campaign. Really enjoy watching/listening to this while painting or army building.
Great video, dudes! I’ve really enjoyed this series. I would love to see this campaign continue.
I like the idea of seeing a campaign completed more than seeing a 1.5 campaign begin. It would be nice to see the guys build some more armor sets and how they play. I really enjoy watching them play partly because the banter is fantastic and partly because there are defiantly different play styles ranging from cautious, calculated to LEROY! If you do decide to do a 1.5 campaign I would much rather see some of the expansions. The Dragon King may fit nicely into the current campaign to add a little more to people like me who missed out… Read more »
That was great. Already can’t wait to see Lantern Years 11-15 and onwards.
