Kill Those Closest To You In Lay Waste Games’ Life Siphon
March 22, 2019 by brennon
Lay Waste Games have dropped onto Kickstarter once more with a murderous game, Life Siphon.
In this game for two-to-four players, you take on the role of humans cursed after opening up a box marked 'Do Not Open'...because, humans right? Your only escape is to kill your closest friends, summoning familiars and casting spells to try and survive down there in the darkness with your cursed brethren.
Be Bold Games put together a tutorial video looking deeper into the rules down below.
Life is your resource in the game, used to summon familiars to do battle with the person to your left. Any cards you play also draw on that life force which is also being siphoned away by the player on YOUR right.
The key to the game is that you ONLY have to worry about the player to your left when it comes to doing damage, and protecting yourself from the player on your right (maybe even keeping them alive!). It's a neat concept that also happens to look fantastic. Seriously, the artwork is lovely.
Pledges
There are a number of different pledge options available for those wanting to pick up Life Siphon.
All of them feature their trademark meeples, some of wood and others in metal, and at the higher tiers, you'll also get the wonderful fabric game board that they've included in previous games like Dragoon.
The concept sounds very cool indeed and I think it could be a great way to get another backstabbing game onto the tabletop.
Will you be checking out Life Siphon?

Sounds a bit like the saw films.
Sometimes computer games do not entertain us whether those games are very interesting and trending. You need to read Math Thesis Topics online. Playing games gladly and with full exuberance depends on our mood. I have played this game and it totally changed my mood into gladness.
