Keymaster Plan A New Spin Off For PARKS Called Memories
January 31, 2020 by brennon
Keymaster Games has been showing off a new project they have been working on alongside the next expansion for PARKS. Here we have the spin-off game for the series called Memories which is spread over three different sets.
The Memories series takes the walking adventure from the core game and instead brings it into a matching game for two-to-eight players. The parks themselves are represented by tiles laid out in a grid across the table and players will have to reveal tiles, pick and choose tiles to take and lock down tiles with their hikers. You are looking to try and collect three sets of matching park tiles before the other players making this a quick game which only takes about half an hour to play.
The strategy of the game comes in finding the right tiles and making sure that you activate the right ones with their resource icons to gain the best benefits. You can even play the game in a head-to-head format, as a team and more. You can even just simply the experience and make it a regular memory game for younger players.
Above you can see the range of different sets which have been created for the game with artwork which covers all of the various national parks in the US. As well as Plains Walker you will be able to pick up Mountaineers and Coast To Coast. There are unique sets of player abilities in each collection so either collect all of them or pick the one which suits you best.
I am in love with the artwork from this game and it's great to see them playing around with the art in a new game format. There will be a Kickstarter for Memories soon so watch this space.
Are you tempted to dive into this?
