Jurassic World: The Legacy Of Isla Nublar Is Live On Kickstarter!

After a few months of teases and development, Prospero Hall has finally announced major details on their Jurassic World board game title. No, it's not in the form of a gameplay video or interview, they have gone live on Kickstarter with Jurassic World: The Legacy of Isla Nublar. Along with that, there is tons of content involved in the campaign to help you decide if you want to get stuck in.
So if you are a fan of Jurassic World as the movie franchise - you are going to want to check this out. The game flows through the story of Jurassic Park-World. That's starting with the wonderful locks of Jeff Goldblum and a t-rex toilet takedown and leading up to Jurassic World Dominion which comes out later this year.

Not only do players get to play through adventures across the movies, but there are also original adventures to fill in gaps between the films - spanning across 12 different adventures. Each adventure is estimated to be roughly 1-2 hours long, getting a lengthy play out of the game.
Whether you want to attack the game solo or with 4 other players, the title expands on the blockbuster universe and onto the tabletop. Funded in 2 hours, players will be taking the role of 21 familiar characters such as John Hammond and Dr Henry Woo starting from the development of the park itself.

Each adventure seems to be set out into different envelopes which need to be opened at a particular time to guide them through each stage of the game. Through each level, the game will develop, adding new rules and mechanics ad the stories unfold. Characters are assigned abilities that will help drive the narrative forward which will involve cooperation and teamwork to overcome dino disasters. As players build and develop their own dinosaur park from scratch on the Island of Isla Nublar.

The Kickstarter is special if you find yourself to be a collector. There will only be one pledge available as part of this campaign, providing a Kickstarter Edition of the title totally over 7lbs worth of game. The cost of the Kickstarter Exclusive comes at £91, 12 dinosaurs, 12 adventures, 21 playable characters and "Kickstarter Exclusive Surprises", which according to the campaign are currently being cooked up in the lab. All ready for pledgee's to receive this October.
