Jedi Knight Luke Skywalker Arrives In Imperial Assault From FFG
October 26, 2016 by stvitusdancern
Imperial Assault, Fantasy Flight Games answer to the dungeon crawler set in the Star Wars universe has a new character or shall we say a much-improved character. Luke Skywalker makes another appearance in the game, this time as the more advanced and skilled Jedi Knight that we saw in Return of the Jedi.
I can remember watching that movie for the first time and seeing all our beloved characters being captured by the big slob Jabba the Hut. Then on the barges over the Sarlacc pit, we get to see Luke's improved skills and the calmness that comes with one that is truly in tune with the force.
I loved that scene and always saw myself as a Jedi, lightsaber swinging and administering justice.
Well, now you can play Luke as the Jedi Knight and bring justice back to the galaxy or at least to your current adventure. Now you can have Luke charge headfirst into the middle of a battle and take on the enemies with his improved health and melee attacks.
He also has the Hero ability which allows him to make an attack once per turn without spending an action point.
Let us not forget that there are the skirmish rules for Imperial Assualt and the Luke Skywalker, Jedi Knight Ally Pack, gives you some new upgrades such as motivation which allows you to remove a harmful condition or a wound from one of your characters with a lesser cost.
No matter how you look at it, this version of Luke is "impressive, most impressive" yes I went there!
Do you play Imperial Assualt?

Looks hard, a nice high threat level, you’ll get a lot of Boys in White to shoot him. Still keeps the white defensive die I see
Very nice.
who doesn’t want to be Luke Skywalker?
@stvitusdancern so glad you went there it would have been a crime not to.
I’m not the biggest SW fan out there, but I really enjoy this game quite a bit. The fact that it is technically two games with tons of great components makes it one of my favourites. Glad to see a version of Luke with his light saber.
