Isaac Vega and Lindsey Rode, both stalwarts of the tabletop gaming industry, have formed a new company called Rose Gauntlet Entertainment. They have already planned a fair few projects, and they look like they could be a lot of fun!

Find Out More About Rose Gauntlet Entertainment

If you're interested in learning more about the premise behind the company and what they want to achieve, the pair did a great announcement video which you can watch at the top of the page. We also did an interview with Isaac Vega not too long ago if you'd like to check that out HERE!

As mentioned above, a number of games have already been detailed and we'll start with Keystone: North America.

Keystone: North America is going to be the first release from Rose Gauntlet which will be coming to Kickstarter. Designed by Jeffery Joyce and Isaac Vega, this is going to be a beautiful brain-burner of a strategy game which is easy to learn.

You will play as biologists who are working to build an interconnected ecosystem through the placement of cards and mindful spending of actions. Built on a passion for wildlife, this is a game which the team have poured a lot into. As someone who loves games about wildlife, this has already caught my attention. With the subtitle of "North America", we might end up seeing more of these games from different areas of the globe (take a peek at the future projects later!).

Next up, we have a roleplaying game by Isaac Vega and Lindsey Rode called Life After Dungeon.

The premise behind this cooperative dungeon-crawling roleplaying game is that it's set after the battle and journey of your heroes is done. However, the adventure continues in the world of After. You'll be working to tell action-packed stories that are also touching and meaningful.

Life After Dungeon is still early in development but the artwork by Alyssa Menold looks wonderful right from the off. This is just the start too. This is what Rose Gauntlet have planned for the future...

As well as tabletop games of different styles, the team at Rose Gauntlet are also going to be working on digital games too. Gone To Gaia is the first video game from the group which will also be seeing development in the next two years.

It's always nice to see a new company popping up which is inspired to create games that mean something to the creators. I'm sure that we're going to be seeing lots more about these games in the coming months and I am eager to learn more about Keystone in particular!

Are you going to be keeping an eye on Rose Gauntlet Entertainment?
