Investigate Cold War Stories In Vienna Connection

Are you good at being a spy in your day-to-day? Who left the milk out? Who stole your favourite pair of socks? Well, in all fairness, my investigations from day-to-day aren't exactly riveting, They really do limit themselves to sacrificing socks to the demon washing machine. However, if do consider yourself a mastermind, looking into the newly released board game, Vienna Connection by Portal Games would be a good call for you.
Vienna Connection // Portal Games
Vienna Connection is a story-driven game, perfect for your next games night if you are looking to do a bit of investigating. 1-5 players will take control of their own CIA team of agents to conduct missions during the Cold War.
Scouring the world for clues and insight, players will travel to different European cities to undergo secret missions to immerse players into the story. Players will need to outsmart and take down rivalling Soviet agents to crack the case and succeed in their missions.

For those who are fuelled by story, the narration of Vienna Connection truly does immerse players into their surroundings, which have been inspired by true events occurring in the 1970s.
If you are looking for something that requires yourself and your teammates to put their heads together to solve a case, then this is an experience that will not want to be missed. Taking hours worth of discussion hunting down clues, analysing evidence, decoding messages. Everything that you have read about in spy novels, or seen in spy films, everything is possible. You and your friends will need to become a well-oiled machine to investigate and crack the code of Vienna Connection.

Due to the excitement of the game, and the stakes which are in place. The game can be replayed, however it is not recommended to do more than twice. The surprise element is exciting from Vienna Connection, and the whole experience is worth all of the tension and anticipation that lurks around each corner and waypoint.

However, just because you can play this once - it does not mean it will take you an hour to get through. Containing four missions and taking up to 15 hours to complete the whole game, three hours per mission. Each game night you will be able to check in with your fellow detectives to piece together and solve the next scenario included in the box.
Vienna Connection is now on sale at most FLGS stores and many an online retailer, so if you are looking for your next story-driven, cooperative experience, teaming up as spies may be the next best games night concept yet.
Well, Vienna Connection almost incorporates most spy gadgets and engagements. I do not think Danny Trejo is coming to the rescue alike he did in Spy Kids... The Danny Trejo Connection Collection would be well worth it.

Mmm a one hit wonder game I’ll stick with Cludo thanks.
Given Ignacy’s pedigree, I’ll be giving it a look. Detective – Modern Crime was a fun game and this sounds like it’s in the same vein.
We’ve really enjoyed playing Sherlock Holmes: Consulting Detective over lockdown… This sounds like it might be similarly fun.
