Interview With Paolo Parente & More Stretch Goals For Conan!
January 28, 2015 by brennon
Conan from Monolith is still going from strength to strength and this means more stretch goals and awesome awesome add-ons too. See what you think of the latest crop of cool stuff popping up for this massive board game...
As well as the stretch goals there's a bunch of add-ons to help pack out your already bursting-at-the-seams Conan experience. One of the biggest ones is the Paole Parente box which comes with alternate art and some new characters!
The Paolo Parente Box comes with an alternate piece of art work as well as another two character sheets and abilities tiles to go along with it. Valeria will still be a combat monster as she should be but this is a distinctly more lightly armoured version of her. As well as that you have Tamaris who doesn't do combat at all instead sending her bodyguards in to do the fighting. Here's some of the big art for this pair by Parente himself...
Salome will also be alone, Taramis' evil sister, and the Overlord can use her to great effect. Salome is a powerful sorceress that can summon the dead beast Thaug onto the field to hopefully crush Conan and friends.
As well as all of this you can now download the Heroes Guide as a PDF that will soon be followed by a scenario, Overlord rules and Print & Play components so you can give the game a go! You can also watch a cool interview with Patrice Louinet, the Hyborian expert on the team HERE.
Quite a lot to have fun with when it comes to Conan!

So many great looking models and pieces of art.
This is quickly becoming *the* thing to kickstart.
And yes, I will be modding my own Red Sonja into the game. They can’t tell me no. 😉
Crom is pleased (no doubt).
We can only hope to see the art in poster form as well before the end.
I am trying like Billy’O to not back this one. Not because it isn’t great…the problem is it is! My bank account couldn’t handle the extra stress… 😛
