I have been so excited for this game and James looks to be bringing a lot of thought and attention to detail to it.
I feel like Mantic has left a lot on the table in terms of Kickstarter success, lacking top quality mini design, lacking emotionally appealing games, given the hype of this IP I wonder if they shoot higher this time around.
@frankelee – would you inlcude the Walking Dead in that? It seems to me like it got a good reception and generally people seem to think the miniatures are very nice. I like them a lot – they’re a lot better than their earlier minis.
I’ll be interested to see what they do with Hellboy, although I don’t actually know the IP.
sounds like an interesting game.
Saw the gameboards and immediately said nope.
James Hewitt, a great game designer, ornament to the hobby and damn fine man. I have no doubt that this will be an interesting and fun game with him involved.
and Mantic’s recent minmis are #@#!%$ superb.
Totally agree! The Dreadball academy videos with James and Warren were so much fun and made me become a BoW backstager and buy the game immediately.
this looks awesome!!! so in on this. would like to see some of the movie characters in as stretch goals – Karl Ruprecht Kroenen
I’m in. And its in ££££ not $$$$! Yay!
Looking forward to this.
any one else think the mini for rasputin has more than a little resemblance to @elromanozo? 😛
“Hellboy on a bender,,,” shocking
I was there the minute the campaign launched. It funded fairly quickly, but I don’t know if James got his pound back. 🙂
Looking forward to what will be unlocked in the coming days. And I’m wondering if the game only focuses on the comics or can also draw from the movies.
I would love to see the elves. I played a D&D character based on prince Nuada that was absolutely badass.
