Indie Thursday: Tanks, Assassins And All Things Japanese!
January 17, 2019 by cassn
Cass, John, and Coco get together to have a look at the best new Indie games on offer this week!
This week, Cass and John talk tanks with Panzer Strike: Western Front, a new tactical tank battle game with a grid layout. Then, Cass and Coco get stealthy as they discuss Shadow Tactics, a one vs many video game adaptation from Antler Games. Finally, Cass waits until Sam is out of earshot to discuss a new series of games based around elements of Japanese life.

I’m really enjoying this series. The amount of time spent is long enough to get a decent feel for each of the titles covered. The Tokyo series look like my sort of thing. Perhaps someone else at OTT might have some experience of the country in question and be able to offer an opinion?
Lol, quiet you’ll awaken him.
DRINK! someone mentioned a trip to Japan
This is an automated message. Sam is currently on holiday in Berlin. Here is a response based on his usual vocabulary choices:
This one time in Japan Terry Pratchett said Hobbits!
panzer strike look good.
Kudo’s for spot lighting indie devs. I love the whole Indie Thursday idea.
I am not sold on the Shadow Tactics: The Board Game. I see you guys have an eval copy so hopefully you show us more before the KS is completed that may change my mind. At the moment I believe the only game that does stealth really well is V-Commandos. I rather play Conan, Claustrophobia or Batman Gotham City in 1 v Many. I believe those 1 v Many games are very well done.
