Impudent Mortal To Launch Tiles Of Adventuring Kickstarter Monday
February 10, 2016 by deltagamegirl22
Do you play an RPG (or more than one)? Have you built up a nice variety of maps to use in your games? Do you find yourself warily watching your adventurers to make sure they don't try to write on your precious maps, or God forbid set a drink down on the map while they're playing?
Then you're going to want to pay attention to Impudent Mortal's upcoming Kickstarter that launches Monday. The Tiles of Adventuring: Tabletop Grid System project is the perfect gaming accessory for you!
This project features clear, acrylic tiles that you lay over whatever surface you're gaming on and it instantly provides a protective surface and the ability to draw to your heart's content! Just think of how handy this would be in your D&D games! You can set up objectives in a hurry and make it clear what lies in which direction - the town, the castle, etc.
You can even have the tiles with or without a grid. The grid adds a nice option of making other games playable on alternate maps, like any of the recent board games that run on tiles with one inch squares. Think of the possibilities! Until Monday, you can have a look at the Kickstarter preview link for the Tiles of Adventuring: Tabletop Grid System, or if you're a Facebook member, you can join the Event Page for the project.
What do you think of this clever gaming accessory?

Amaze balls. Simple but effective.
Like the idea although we don’t use maps like that in our RPG sessions. Could be a god reason to start doing so. 🙂
These look pretty handy. I don’t play RPGs but I could see myself using them to open up some outdoor areas for Dungeon Saga.
looks good the large scale maps may be better on a hex grid?
