Impact City Roller Derby Gets a New Team
February 29, 2012 by brennon
Impact Miniatures are rolling out their new game based on Roller Derby later in the year, so of course there needs to be some teams for you to play as. The newest is the VooDoo Barbys Rollers...
The detail is a little lost in these shots, but there's a lot of movement and action to the miniatures which is great. If you want a bit of an idea of what they might look like painted, here is one of the other teams...
While the game might not be for everyone, it sounds like a simple and easy to play game which could bring people into the tabletop world.
What do you think?
is it the same as the “jammer Up” thats already in production? being a bit of a derby widow, i look forward to painting some of these and playing a few games.
Not sure but this is a little more information on just what the game is and the thinking behind it.

Nice looking rollergirls.
theunnamableone: The figures in the JammerUp KickStarter came from Impact! … we are working with Niki from JammerUp to help make both our board games successful to get Derby into as many homes as possible. Impact City Roller Derby is Impact!’s board game and we are currently looking at working on funding it on KickStarter in April. The Facebook link provided by brennon is how to find out more information/photos of our game.
I love roller durby. The local Toronto durby team just wan the nationals. Looks like a cool set they have on sale.
