Immortal Connor MacLeod Comes To River Horse’s Highlander
December 29, 2017 by dracs
River Horse have revealed the first character available to play in their upcoming Highlander game; the immortal Scottish warrior Connor MacLeod.
According to River Horse's Facebook post, Connor is a strong character choice for the early stages of the game and relies heavily upon his allies. Skilled with a claymore, he harnesses the pain of those he loses into a far more potent weapon.
The model looks like it well captures the titular Highlander in his early days. It's a promising start, and makes me wonder what other immortals we'll be seeing in the game. Could we also see a modern day version of Connor? Will the TV series characters be appearing as well?
Do you plan to chip in on this Kickstarter when it launches?

Great looking model, but I’m not sure about the game’s theme. Terminator bombed and I can’t see this doing much better.
Only the sequels died.
Mini looks good not sold on the game.
There can only be one miniature!
Man, I’m backing this. Can’t wait for it to hit KS.
That is looking really good and it does look like him.
a great highlander figure.
The mini resembles the character of the film quite well. It will be quite diccicult to invent a good game here, since the core will be sword duels, so it´s mainly one against one. This can become boring, if you don´t get it right. Before starting to think about supporting one should wait for a sketch of the game idea and engine.
Anyway, if the minis are as good as they appear here, they are sure to sell well.
For the producers may be setting up a two-pronged KS is a way of handling this.
