Feeling hungry? It is Snack Time on Kickstarter at the moment, and Backfire Studio have got their gangly tentacles at the ready for a new roll & write that will swarm the sewers.

Snack Time, funded in the first four hours of the Kickstarter campaign, will place an unlimited amount of players in a 30-minute scramble of starving mutants that are in hopes of finding their next meal up on the surface.

Whilst players roll five different dice, the number will determine how many different limbs and appendages will be added to the monster controlled by the player.

Once these hungry beasts are all limbed-up, they can make their way out of the sewer, through the pipe system and straight up to the surface to feed on passer-by pedestrians minding their own business.

Depending on how much of a decent chunk the players decide to take out of the incoming pedestrian, they will receive a set amount of points depending on their finesse. However, some pedestrians would not rather falter from a hungry deep one, and will put up a fight! Causing injury to the players’ monster - and longer until they get a chance to feed.

The last thing you want at dinnertime is the feds involved, all you want to do is settle that rumbling stomach! If monsters get a little too tentacle-happy on their venture against starvation, the authorities might become alerted and reflect penalties on the players’ score.

The campaign up on Kickstarter has four days left, and has been incredibly successful

I would love to see police get involved in a multi-limbed hungry sewer monster attack. In-game, you face a penalty. Just a slap on the wrist for this hungry mutant, they wouldn’t have had enough sets of handcuffs anyway to bring the monster in!
