Talisman: The Horus Heresy Adds The Isstvan Campaign To It’s Story

The team at Nomad Games have continued to add to Talisman: The Horus Heresy with the addition of The Isstvan Campaign to the story and narrative flowing through the game.
"Isstvan is a really thrilling period in the 31 st Millennium.” said MD Don Whiteford. “This is a chance for all fans of Warhammer 40,000 to see where it all started and take control of some of the most brutal leaders in either faction. We can’t wait to see what our players think of the new additions and changes we’ve made to the game with this update."
Inside this new expansion you'll get a host of new leaders to take control of...
For the Traitors
- Fulgrim, the Phoenician, Prefector of Chemos and High Lord of the Emperor's Children.
- Perturabo: The Lord of Iron, Primarch of the Iron Warriors is a grim warrior and a master of technological arcarna.
- Armillus Dynat, the Harrowmaster of the Alpha Legion
For the Loyalists:
- Ferrus Manus, the Gorgon, Master of the Iron Hands.
- Nathaniel Garro, Hand of the Sigillite, former Battle-Captain of the Death Guard 7th Battle Company.
- Saul Tarvitz, One of the few loyalist Company Captains of the Emperor's Children Legion.
In addition you can also now play as a Chaplain who are inspiring leaders from the various Legions.
New Stratagems, Places, Strangers and Events are also available for you to get stuck into. I really like the idea of the narrative being driven like this and I think this could be a great addition to your collection digitally.
You can also get a Season Pass for the game which allows you to get each of the expansions as they come out. There are quite a few pieces of DLC so if you want all of it this would be the avenue to go down.
What do you think of Talisman: The Horus Heresy?

Isstvan the first battle where primarch’s fought and kill primarch’s
purchased this as soon as I saw it was available on the app. Decent expansion; it’s a touch more linear than the core game, but that’s because it’s supposed to represent you fighting your way through the Isstvan system/campaign so doesn’t feel forced. I also like the addition of units that you encounter on the Isstvan sideboard that can join any player and if you fail your roll to join up with them they’ll attack you. One of the nicest ‘fleets’ you can pick up has to be the Stormbird which lets you move up to what you rolled rather… Read more »
