Learn The Rules Of The Undercity With Privateer Press
July 28, 2015 by brennon
Privateer Press are going to be bringing The Undercity along with them to Gen Con this year for demos. Above is a gameplay tutorial showing you how to begin playing the game and some of the basics and you can find a copy of the full rules to download HERE too.
What's Inside?
Not only will you be getting yourself a whole bunch of miniatures but also the character cards, tokens and dice that you need to play your way through this dank and dark adventure. You get forty four models in the box which is pretty awesome!
August the 12th will be the date you can get your hands on the game properly but as mentioned above before then you have some time to prep. If you're at Gen Con this weekend then I suggest going over to see what you think of the demo since it will probably be packed most of the time!
Have you got your eye on this as something to pick up for the summer?
Let us know below.

Interesting opportunity to learn about the world of warmachine perhaps .. hope its fun 🙂
Interesting idea imho. The game looks alright, but the thing that would get me into it, would be some great minis, sadly, they are very underwhelming at best tbh. Would be great to see PP kick out some models which had quality at its core, especially a game like this, where the content is so zoomed in to the Iron Kingdoms universe. Ofc its just a board game at its core, but with so many average at best sculpts from PP, Im left constantly thinking about when the quality will ever be there. They got a big boost from years… Read more »
Really want to get this one specially because it has some juicy Cephalyx in it and is perfect for a Cephalyx detachment ( or even a 25 army, just need a warcaster and a few solos… ). Does anyone knows how much is the weight of that box ?
You wait ages for plastic Pirate ‘jacks and then two come along at once…
A lot of models there to use as alternates or additions in warmahoards, not sure all of them are wysywyg/ the right number for the units they’re based on (or in a few cases taken from), but you can just use them in Iron Kingdoms RPG games and more models is always a good thing.
Seems like dungeon crawler in a big box sets are getting pretty popular.
That is one great looking box.
Does anyone know if the models are hard plastic or that “softer style”plastic that they used in the “unleashed” set? I’d love to see PP do some hard plastic hero figure (for things like alchemists etc, I know some can be taken and adapted from the existing range). I’m not so keen on the soft plasic minis though,. Any ideas?
