New Hard Plastic Enforcers Lock N’ Load For Mantic’s Deadzone
February 4, 2015 by brennon
Mantic Games have put together another awesome kit for Deadzone that's now up for pre-order on their webstore. The focus here is a new hard plastic kit for the Enforcers with the Enforcer Support Booster that gives you a variety of weapons to play around with...
A little more on the Enforcers...
"The Enforcers are the Council of Seven’s specialist military division – a technologically superior fighting force equipped with the best armour the Corporation can buy. Armed with an array of devestating weaponry, the Enforcer’s unwavering discipline and specialist training make them some of the galaxy’s most feared warriors on the battlefield. They operate as a completely self-contained force, able to call upon their own specialists to deal with any scenario. This includes field medics, trained in the strange and esoteric physiology of these superhuman soldiers, as well as close quarter urban suppression specialists known as defenders, equipped with combat shields and high powered shotguns."
The new kit comes with five bodies, legs, awesome Defender-styled helmets, Heavy Laser Rifles, Assault Blades, upgrades to make a Sergeant, an Incinerator, Burst Laser and Energy Gauntlet. Quite the plethora of weapons that will give you an option for whatever Plague menace decides to take on your team.
Here you can see the sprues in more detail showing off the different legs, arms, bodies and more. The new hard plastic kit is a big step forward and really gives you a lot more choice. As well as that they'll actually go together without too much hassle either according to Mantic!
This really is a cool looking kit and I always loved the look of the Enforcers but this takes them to another level. Most of the Enforcers are getting to the level now where I'd pick up their kits simply to paint them and have them on my shelf and that's not something I normally do!
As mentioned at the start these new Enforcers are now up on their webstore for pre-order and it would be great to hear what you lot think of the new look and the new plastic sprue too.
It certainly bodes well for Warpath too...
Do you play Enforcers?

Not built any yet, but the sprues look great.
If they are anything like the hard plastic Forge Fathers they should go together easily.
something I really like about the sprues is that there enough pieces that you could equip the whole squad with rifles or ccws if you wish
Those are really good.
They look delicious and i have those! But not the ones with the shields :/
The shields are part of a resin upgrade pack. Not sure what the retail date is for those….
the only thing i could see to help assembly would be number or letter the arms as its not very clear what goes with what
It’s just me who thinks they look terrible then? Sterile, charmless and cheap looking.
Nope, they look worse than GWs Harlequins lol
The sprues have enough bit’s to make each model unique, go together easily and are very detailed. They have a great deal of character and look quite intimidating on the gaming table. I have enough now that I can use them in both warpath and deadzone, but, the description does not do them justice. The enforcers are the council of seven’s soldiers, not any specific corporations. You can even have corporation troops and enforcers on opposing sides. I would not be surprised if some of the council use the enforcers and pathfinders against each other in certain conflicts – dealing… Read more »
about time, the restic ones in the Deadzone boxset are nasty and a pain to clean up and work with
Well, at least no one is standing on a rock.
The sprues look nice but can’t really judge untill i get some. Who does their plastices, Renedra?
A heavy improvement over the old resin stuff, a definite must have for me personally.
They are in heavy armour – so different from the restic ones
These ones are the same as the restic ones just in hard plastic and more options. These are the Peacekeepers… http://manticblog.com/2015/02/04/enforcer-miniature-spotlight-peacekeepers/
They are awesome!
I despise Mantic’s Restic material. It’s so difficult to clean and the pieces do not like fitting together. I love their plastics though! Good to see more sprues from Mantic.
Assembling restic often involves dunking the parts in hot water to bend them a bit. The new enforcers are really nice. I did 10 of them in a morning (assembled and cleaned.) There is a little bit of a question as to which arms go to which guns, but if you use plastic cement, you have some extra wiggle room to position them as you like.
The Restic stuff……OMG…….It took me ages to get one squad to stick together. Mould lines…..just couldn’t get off cleanly, just seemed to convert into a white flappy thing it took ages to scrape off. Burnt so much energy at that stage I only managed to basecoat them then got fed up. I wish all the Deadzone stuff was plastic, the struggle with the basic sets squads has been a real turn off.
The Enforcers Support Booster includes the resin parts for the shields and shotguns. It also has the medic too.
All in all, its a great wee kit. The next thing mantic need to work on now though are providing instructions for assembling the models
The Peacekeepers have the shields on their sprues – I have not had time to assemble any of the Enforcers or Peacekeepers but I am so glad for plain ordinary HARD PLASTIC. The shields are probably cross compatible.
Average at best.
Great attempt at plastics from Mantic.
As with their other Peacekeepers, very decent models for any sci-fi game. Let’s hope the price is decent though.
Note because these are plastic the detail will be, naturally, LESS than their last incarnations, but apparently the decrease in quality is minimal which is a good thing. There are reviews online.
You could shift these beasts in kinder eggs and sell thousands, just a thought.
I love my HP Enforcers and Peacekeepers. Some of the best armoured soldiers on the market, and certainly the best value.
Roll on Warpath…
I’ve got my kickstarter ones in my queue now. ThetThey are certainly nicely produced. The best hhard plastic they have produced since the stopped using Renedra and went to Chinese manufacturers. I like them better than their restic predecessors as the smoother texture works better for armour. Aesthetics are a personal choice. I like them better than GW marines.
Good value.
Can anyone tell me what all the pieces are for on the sprue with the heads? There are 2 grenades, another tiny piece which could be a badge or logo, and then two other pieces which look like claws or handles?
