Looking to add something spooky to a classic title this Halloween? Days of Wonder have announced their newest edition of Ticket to Ride set to be released in October. Ticket to Ride: Ghost Train.

Ticket To Ride Ghost Train - Days Of Wonder

Ticket To Ride: Ghost Train // Days Of Wonder

Being pitched as a perfect place to get started with Ticket To Ride this introduces a new creepy and fun-filled ghostly edition of Ticket To Ride: First Journey. For children looking to pick up the mechanics and skills to the town connecting title, this strips back and scales down mechanics for a younger audience. Players will be collecting a new type of ticket with a spooky reskin.

Collecting parade float cards in theme with All Hallows Eve festivities, you'll be heading off to different parts of the town. Visit haunted areas across the map including the Mad Scientist's Lab, Lonely Barn, Swamp and Pumpkin Patch.

Players can swag themselves some candy along the parade's journey across town, allowing players to rake in some bonus points for Trick or Treating whilst establishing direct routes from A to B.

If you wanted to take a look at the rules, they are free to download over on the Days of Wonder website. If you are looking for a thematic classic to introduce your little ones to a simplistic board game title with areas for development - the game can take roughly twenty-five minutes to play through, for ages six and up. The game is set for one to six players and if your child didn't want to engage in a competitive jaunt - then solo mode down the spooky streets is an option.

What is your favourite Halloween-themed title?
