Gale Force Nine's awesome Aliens board game is going to be coming back to shelves this year! June will mark the return of Aliens: Another Glorious Day In The Corps which allows you to play out deadly scenarios from the second move in the original Aliens trilogy. "Game over man, game over!"

The best thing about Aliens: Another Glorious Day In The Corps is that it's a proper fun cooperative survival game. It takes all of the tense moments from the movie and brings them to the tabletop. Take on the role of the Marines, Ripley and more as you try and stay alive against terrible odds.

We had a lot of fun with the game when it was first released and we're really eager to dive back in and play out more of the scenarios from the game. June marks a great time to get stuck in and start playing the game again. I'm sure it will be available at a lot of conventions and beyond!

What's also very cool is that the game is going to be getting all of its expansions released later in the year (September) alongside a new one!

Aliens Expansions!

The first of the releases is the Ultimate Badasses Expansion which allows you to increase your Fireteam with six new characters.

The set comes with a new set of miniatures representing more key characters from Aliens and you will also find Experience Cards which can give your characters new abilities for use in future missions. You just have to make sure they survive!

Who could say no to a flamethrower? Maybe you want to even go down the "Corpo" route and work against your allies for whatever means Weyland has set forth for you!

The second of the expansions is superb for those looking to play out a climactic moment in the film. Get Away From Her You B***h! introduces the clash between the Alien Queen and Ripley in her loader suit.

You'll also find more rules for playing as the Alien Hive during your games and turning things around on your former allies. There are also new campaign missions and locations included in the box that allow you to expand your experience to match the movie.

Last but not least, there is a third expansion coming in September alongside the other two. We're In The Pipe, Five By Five throws some new characters and foes into the mix during your games!

This set comes with two more characters for you to use when building your Fireteam alongside updated missions, Alien Variants (awesome!), new Experience Paths to go down and additional Hive Cards which can spice up your gameplay.

Maybe, just maybe, you'll be able to extract your team before the deadly alien threat manages to overrun you and your allies. I like that we're getting the Alien Variants in the mix as well just to play around with things a little more.

It's awesome to see the game coming back to shelves properly in June and getting expansions in September. I can see a lot of folks snapping up these sets and enjoying a Summer or survival against a horde of Xenomorphs!  I could also see a lot of folks taking both the Fireteam miniatures and the Xenomorphs to make up fun scenarios in the likes of Stargrave or perhaps Xenos Rampant!
