GF9 Teach Us All the Ways of Homeland’s Paranoia & Intrigue
February 17, 2015 by dracs
Homeland, the board game based on the hit TV show, is now heading to stores and Gale Force 9 are taking us through how the game is played.
On the new website, players can find a downloadable copy of the board game's rule book, as well as a quick run through of the game's basic mechanics and components. This helps to give players an idea of just what this recreation of the TV show will be like, before taking on the role of agents and terrorists themselves.
We got to have a game of Homeland recently, and you can hear our thoughts more fully on this episode of The Weekender. It was a lot of fun to play and I felt that it did capture the essence of the show. It is cool to see the game getting released and I think that making the rules available like this is a good move on Gale Force 9's part as it should help to draw in both gamers and fans of the show as they see what they're in for.
Think you'll be playing Homeland?

Even if you are not a fan of the show (or at least what it turned in to), I would not dismiss this game out of hand. GF9 also made Spartacus: Blood on the Sands, which is quite simply one of the best board games I have ever played. Looking forward to seeing what they do with this one!
