Doctor Who: Time Of The Daleks is the big board game coming your way from Gale Force Nine soon. With a degree of resource management, teamwork and plenty of dice rolling it looks like its going to be a lot of fun. Their latest article discusses how you go about Recruiting Companions to your side...

Companions #1

At the start of your turn, you may be able to recruit a companion to your side. If you succeed in the adventure they will turn from a part-time companion to a full-time one. In this way, you can look for the help you need in changing dice when the threat rises.

Companions #2

Some companions also work better with certain Doctors. For example, Clara Oswald works with the Twelfth Doctor and gains benefits to her abilities due to her close ties with him.

While it's neat to stick to canon I do like the idea of having companions meet up with different incarnations of the Doctor as they go about their business of saving the universe!

Will you be picking up this game?
