Gale Force 9 Expand Spartacus With the Serpent and the Wolf

Gale Force 9 have announced the first of their expansions to the excellent board game Spartacus: A Game of Blood and Treachery. Now you will have to deal with the Serpent and the Wolf!
No details have been released about this expansion as yet, but it looks like we will be getting two more powerful families to take control of.
Not having watched the show I can't say how these new families will play out in comparison with the ones already available, but I am happy to see this game starting to expand.
What can you tell us about these families? What else do you think we can expect from this set?
