Venture Into The Frost In HeroQuest Frozen Horror Expansion
July 26, 2022 by fcostin
Hold on to your jackets, your adventure is about to get a little chilly! Avalon Hill has announced that there will be a new expansion coming very soon for the revived HeroQuest title.
Taking players into the dark, mysterious and damn-right freezing, they will be headed off into ten new petrifying quests, whilst meeting some new monsters along the way. In the upcoming HeroQuest expansion, The Frozen Horror.
HeroQuest // The Frozen Horror Expansion
Designed as a new Quest Pack for players to continue on in their fantastical adventures, encouraging them to take on this set's 'big-bad', the Frozen Horror. Alongside many a monster along the way, and a chance to get a helping hand from a group of savage mercenaries to help fight the cause.
Inside The Box // HeroQuest - The Frozen Horror
Alongside the epic and heroic quest in taking down the frozen horror, players will be encouraged to use the Barbarian which comes inside the box. With solo quests to embed some nice heroic trauma, players will witness the growth of their Barbarian through each step of the adventure.

Next to the Barbarian miniature, there are 21 models in total to encompass the entire extended story. Including Polar War Bears, Yetis, Mercenaries and Ice Gremlins!
The expansion is now available to be preordered over on the Hasbro Pulse website as we speak, for a cheeky release straight after the close of summer on September 1st. Inspired by the Barbarian Quest Pack, the new expansion will be bringing new life to older content, making tweaks and additions to improve overall gameplay in the new edition.
Thinking of heading into the cold with a new HeroQuest expansion?

Would this work alongside the old version of heroquest?
probably … it was a mere re-print with newly models ’cause of copyright issues with GW.
Ooh nice one.
not for Germans ?
why Hasbro ?
Or are the people outside of the USA and UK smart enough to wait for retail versions ? 😉
Probably because Hasbro seems to be only US and UK. The pulse for the Heroquest core game was just US in the beginning until people began complaining, then it also came to the UK.
