October 13, 2021 by fcostin
It seems there are two anniversaries happening at the moment at Steamforged Games! We have been celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the Resident Evil franchise, with the recent announcement of the Resident Evil (1) board game, but it seems there is another video-game crossover that is getting some special attention this year too.
Competition Announcement // Steamforged Games
This year, we are celebrating the 10 year anniversary of Dark Souls the video game. If you have not ever been privy to the interesting gothic themes that are surrounding Dark Souls, Demon Souls and Bloodborne - the games attract a particular type of video gamer that is detail-orientated, likes a challenge and is incredibly patient.
Dark Souls: The Board Game does not remove those themes even slightly. Promising to play as a "brutally hard exploration miniatures game", 1-4 players will explore the spikey world and encounter iconic monsters - both big and small known within the video game world.
If you have Dark Souls: The Board Game and have been on the hunt for the Four Kings Expansion, you are in luck! Given the anniversary of the game - Steamforged Games will be giving away two copies of the expansion. And all you need to do is fill out a form for a chance to add it to your collection. Players will only have up until the 21st of October to fill in the form, so be quick!

Nice great looking figures.
But they look like they are a nightmare to paint and handle XD
yes a challenging set to paint up you could paint them black like H.P. tormentors?
In the game they are pretty much black, white, and shades of gray, with a bit of metallic on the weapons. So pretty much a black primer then dry brush dark->light gray with some white for the face and hair and highlights.
