Forbidden Alchemy Mansions of Madness Expansion
September 14, 2011 by dracs
Fantasy Flight Games have released a new expansion for Cthulhu horror game Mansions of Madness. Now is the time to dabble in Forbidden Alchemy.
"Inside abandoned hospitals, secret laboratories, and forgotten cellars, scientists are conducting depraved experiments that will drag humanity to the brink of the abyss. Only a small group of investigators can discover the truth and put an end to these mad plots before it’s too late..."
As well as new monsters, cards and locations this expansion will provide you with three new scientific scenarios for you to play through.
What's your verdict on this guys? Do you think this will be worth adding to your games?

I think its a must for all gaming and HP Lovecraft fans. I’ll be picking this up on pre-order as soon as someone puts it up for me to do so!!!
Adree wholeheartedly! It captures the horror of the Lovecraft stories perfectly =D
MoM is an awesome game! I’m so pleased a new expansion with new gribbly monsters is on the horizon. Season fo the Witch expansion was a bit of a let down but this looks fantastic!
@jaerin Why was season of the witch not so good?
Sir Angry summed it up just below. Not a lot of content for the money and no new creature models or floor plans.
I agree Season of the Witch was a let down as it was just a few cards and a single mission for £10. Not really the sort of expansion you want for a game like this. If it had generated a couple of missions I could see it as worthwhile, but for a single mission… nope.
Man I sooo need this game…
