Battle Foam are in the dungeon delving mood with this rather awesome collection of trays for the game, Descent: Journeys In The Dark by Fantasy Flight Games. They have been working on both trays for the original game and some of the expansions.

Descent Into Safety

Here we have the Descent Tray Kit which is a set of foam which fits within the original box for the game. As you can see it has enough room for the monsters, tiles, cards and heroes. It's pretty fantastic that they were able to pack all of this into the trays.

Currently our Descent collection is separated between a range of different boxes while the main game box contains just the tiles and the rules. It can be somewhat confusing when you can't find the box with all the big models in it.

The Battle Foam team have also created a similar set up for use with the P.A.C.K 352 bag.

As you can see the layout is slightly different but means that you could try and transfer a lot of your models out into a proper bag instead of being inside the game box. The spaces are also a lot more open plan for some of the creatures allowing you to chop and change what monsters go in there at different points.

The Labyrinth Of Ruin

One of the expansions that now has a selection of trays is the Labyrinth Of Ruin expansion. This doesn't obviously have as many components but they have made a Tray Kit for the game box...

...and then an optional version for the P.A.C.K 352 case again. You could potentially then just have all of your expansions together in one bag while the main game sits within the box.

I'm sure there will be plenty more for this game over the coming days during Descent Week.

Would you opt for the game box inserts or the P.A.C.K variants?
