Fly With Hermes & Battle Mighty Monsters For Mythic Battles: Pantheon
November 3, 2016 by brennon
Mythic Games have added some amazing new miniatures to their Kickstarter for Mythic Battles: Pantheon. A new God, new Heroes, and Monsters join the mix!
Hermes leads the way, the messenger of the Gods. He looks fantastic and very powerful too. While Hermes might be seen as a bit of a lithe fellow compared to the others he doesn't look like he'll be a slouch in combat.
Following on from him we have the monstrous Dragon of Thebes...
It's great to see they've taken one of the more traditional views of the Dragon (in that it's a snake) and then used this as the basis of the model. The design looks fantastic and the detail on the face is insane.
If you're going to be battling against monsters like this you'll need another hero. So, Jason is joining the cast to leap forth from the Argonaut to do battle with beasts!
Once again we've got a great looking sculpt here although that sword is massive! The details on the shield are the best though...
Will you be joining in on this campaign and picking up all manner of different extra options that have already been included as part of the project?
Drop your thoughts below!

they look great love the dragon of thebe’s
I loved all the Conan mini’s and that love has very happily transferred across to MB:P, they are beautiful, i am so glad to have backed this 😀 .
This game is just getting better and better, the only bad thing is that we’ve got to wait a year for it to deliver. Still that’ll give me time to paint my Conan pledge!
One Thing that i would love to see in that Kikstarter is a Kratos miniature so i can recreate my own God of war game 😉
But it looks like they don’t want so is there anyone who know a miniatures that looks like Kratos that way i could create it by my self , i know there is one from the Dark age game but i think he is not close enough so any suggestion for a 32mm miniature ?
I’ve seen some comments here and there complaining that some of the mini’s look flat or “squashed”. I have to say, I like it! they look inspired by Greek art, it’s a lovely touch, and if it isn’t intentional, it’s a lovely happenstance.
Also, just look at that snake!
I know i should`t of, but i went and backed it. I just love the mini`s, the idea of playing a mythical “GOD” is most appealing to me (as it`s the only time i`ll get to be the boss, don`t tell the wife), and not`s let forget the monsters – hero`s and troops. I for one can`t wait to get stuck in to “Mythic Battles.
The only down side to the game is………………………..we have to wait till December 2017, so until then i`ll have to settle with…………..Dropfleet – Walking dead and Devils run, so bags of fun to be had.
Trust me to forget about Bolt Action and Konflikt 47, so ya a busy year a head of me till “Myth Battles”.
I just received my copy of Conan, and can’t help it, but I backed this one as well. I really liked the demogame you guys played and couldn’t resist myself. Even though painting Conan can take quite a while, I hope to get a big box for Christmas next year!
Those are looking very nice.
I received my Conan pledge and, as seems to be the case with others, back MB:P on the strength of that game. Conan is ace – playing again Sunday evening – and this looks just as good.
