Finish As First Fisherman In IDW Games’ Tonari
April 3, 2019 by cassn
The island of Kuchinoshima in the Kagoshima Prefecture is a peaceful place with a small, happy community. However, when the island is hit by a terrible storm, it's inhabitants find themselves left with only a single fishing boat. Now, each villager must compete to prove themselves the best fisherman and help their community!
In Tonari, players must take turns moving the boat marker around the island, collecting the fish tiles which they land on and trying to haul in the greatest catch! However, there is a twist: 'Tonari' (roughly translated) means neighbour, and each players score is added to the neighbouring player on their left before a winner is crowned!
Tonari is a quick, easy-to-learn game with a relatively short run-time of 30 minutes. It will be due for general release in August 2019, but you can keep up-to-date through IDW Games.
Will you be adding Tonari to your game collection? Tell us what you think!
