DragonStrike Now Set For 23rd April Kickstarter Launch!

Fighting Hedgehog has set a date for their Kickstarter for DragonStrike. You'll be able to dive into dragon-on-dragon combat set against the backdrop of classic Dungeons & Dragons stories from 23rd April.

DragonStrike is a game where two-to-four players take control of both chromatic and metallic dragons and do battles on the tabletop. Whether you're looking to serve Tiamat or make sure that her plans are thwarted, you'll be able to take to the skies with a unique tabletop game that gets you thinking strategically from turn-to-turn whilst planning ahead to execute your plans.

Player Board // DragonStrike

The player board (above) tracks the status of your dragon and the dragon rider that might be atop them. The deck of cards then governs your actions during each turn and as each action is chosen in secret, it can make for some interesting moments at the tabletop. A gentle reminder that you might want to go all out on manoeuvres but sometimes it pays to swoop around gracefully!

Maybe don't use Ben as a master tactician when it comes to planning out your turns in DragonStrike when you get it to the tabletop. This does show off how fun the game is though! The actual physical game will come with pre-painted dragons so you just need to crack the game out of the box and get playing.

The game promises to be pretty darn awesome and as someone who has loved dragons for as long as I can remember, it's great to have a game which does a good job of replicating combat with them on the tabletop.

Make sure to watch out for the Kickstarter coming at the end of April. If you get in early during the campaign, there is also an excellent raffle being set up which could get you all sorts of goodies.
