FFG’s X-Men: Mutant Insurrection Dice Game Releasing Soon!
January 26, 2021 by brennon
This game might have vanished off of radars for a little bit but X-Men: Mutant Insurrection from Fantasy Flight Games should be releasing in the next two months! This cooperative dice game pits the X-Men against the villainous Brotherhood Of Mutants and more.
X-Men: Mutant Insurrection // Fantasy Flight Games
Designed for one-to-six players and with a playtime of around forty-five minutes to an hour, Mutant Insurrection feels like it could be a good fit for those who want to dive in and play a few games during an evening. Also, it's the X-Men! Who could say no to them!
X-Men: Mutant Insurrection Components // Fantasy Flight Games
During the game, you'll play as X-Men like Wolverine, Storm, Rogue, Jubilee, Cyclops, Gambit and more as you take on foes like Dark Phoenix, Magneto and the Hellfire Club. There are eight distinct and different scenarios included in the game and you can mix and match things with your choice of heroes in order to get the most out of the game during repeat playthroughs.

X-Men: Mutant Insurrection Gameplay
The heart of the game lies in the dice rolling action and you'll be making sure that you team up in the best ways in order to defeat a selection of minor and major foes. I should say that I really like that the game comes with those fun cardboard standees rather than miniatures. Not every game needs miniatures.
Are you going to be checking this one out? We hope it's still lined up for the start of this year!

I wish I could set my watch to miniatures!
That’s the problem with me writing the word miniatures all day heh – cheers for spotting that.
