Get Festive With New Home Alone Board Game & Lego Set!
October 29, 2021 by fcostin
The Web Bandits are back - and right in time for Christmas. Everybody knows good ol' Kevin Mccallister. Parents went off to Paris for Christmas and left the poor little mite at home, now he must fend himself against two incompetent bumbling bandits. Looking to clear out the Mccallister household - regardless if Kevin is inside.
A new board game from National Entertainment Collectibles Association (NECA) was announced earlier this week, bringing Kevin and the Wet Bandits to the tabletop. As players set traps and save the Mccallister family home from peril (or cause it!).
Home Alone: Keep the Change // National Entertainment Collectibles Association (NECA)
Coming this November, right in time for Christmas: Home Alone: Keep the Change is heading to our tabletops as 2-4 players assume the role of Kevin, Marv and Harry, or Old Man Marley to meet a series of goals throughout the game.

Similarly in theme with the original Home Alone film, each player will have a different set of goals that need to be achieved to win. Kevin is there to place traps around the home to scare the Wet Bandits from his property whilst Marv and Harry are on the loot, whilst attempting to avoid fire, nails and all kinds of painful objects which could cause further bodily damage.

Once Kevin's mother is through that door, the game is over. So whether the household has been looted, in disarray or kept in order - all will end as soon as Kate Mccalister bullies her way in through the door... after forgetting her youngest when travelling on holiday to Paris for Christmas.
If you arent too keen on putting down some traps and setting Joe Pesci's head on fire, there is another tabletop solution coming on November 1st. Ready to trade in your nativity scene for a centrepiece that screams Christmastime?
Home Alone LEGO Set // Home Alone
The upcoming set is certainly not small! There are a massive total of 3,955 pieces and your favourite Home Alone characters as Minifigures, including Kevin, Marv, Harry, Old Man Marley, and Mum to be absent for the entirety of the building. Both the whole house, including the basement and treehouse will come in the set.
What is even better is that if you want to build this over December, the box contains 24 different bags. So if you did want to use the set as an Advent Calendar for yourself or the kiddos, that is entirely possible to have it all built by Christmas Eve. Or... In November if you have no patience like myself!
How many times do you watch Home Alone over the lead-up to Christmas?
