Let’s Play: Fanhunter Urban Warfare With Devir Games
May 29, 2017 by dignity
It's time to get wacky in the studio with some Fanhunter, Urban Warfare from Devir Games.
The world of popular culture is under attack and the famed Amazing Spiderman #1 has been stolen and it's up to either the Resistance or the Fanhunters to claim it back.
We're joined in the studio again by David Esbri and he's showing us the amazing world of Fanhunter in this comical little skirmish game.
What would you do for an Amazing Spiderman #1?

Looks really simple and loads of fun. I likke the idea of British Bobbys, maybe against british chavs so with trousers half way down their arse and big chain necklaces and vests.
I have been looking forward to this game since it was covered in a BoW Weekender show around a year ago. As when I was into collecting comics, I used to love the FanHunter series of books
Another fun filled game to play with my kids. Love it.
I love this quirky game. I am from the USA but I it made me lookup the Comic and this game. I read and speak Italian and Spanish so I was able to dig a bit deep. Love the comics I found and the humor. I am a fan of odd ball themed games. I would like to thank BoW for highlighting this publisher: Devir Games. I knew about Checkpoint Charlie but not of the other games. I would love to have any of the showcased games on my game shelf. I am hoping that BoW highlights other similar publishers… Read more »
Looks like a fun little game. I got a free Fanhunter mini when I backed the Home Raiders Kickstarter. It’s a cool little mini.
Lokks like a quite nice litte game, love the setting
The possibilities are pretty endless. Klingon trekkies armed with batleths would make an awesome unit for the resistance. Maybe secret service troops with sunglasses and suits for the fanhunters. This game could have some pretty funny scenarios.
very cleam mechanics
Yeah that looks pretty cool! I will investigate further!
Looks like a lot of fun
So is this what has become of Vesper on Games try to make a Fan Hunters miniature wargame?
Love this little introductions to table top games this week, keep it up.
It looks a fun and quick game! I do like the design of the characters too!
Good to see David back on the show and I’m glad this game is released.
Nice game – rather unique art direction
This is a really cool game, the game rules seem simple and easy to get into. I love the art style as well.
looks like a fun game. will have to take a look at this again.
Love the art style
I really like their style of games. Such fun ideas. Thanks for showing us. My wallet might not like you much, though :))
A very cool idea. This is a game to keep an eye on.
Quick fun game. Art style should be appealing to kids also.
Nice little game and I love the artwork. Thumbs up from me!
neat game
This is a great little game!
Fast game, just tried 3 scenarios, but is really fast. Also here fanhunter was a succes and all old rpg players knows that, fanhunters on old rpg game was known as Tintín macute, and the weird simbols means “Pichurrina” kind of lucky/fate/force interpretation but the base of the name pichurra refers to a human body part.
